Carol Vorderman reveals her ‘biggest fear’ on BBC Wales Radio

Carol Vorderman, 61, revealed her “biggest fear” in candid conversation with Myleene Klass, 44, on Saturday’s edition of her BBC Radio Wales programme.

Former Hear’Say singer Myleene is a guest on Countdown legend’s show to promote her new book, They Don’t Teach This in School: The Knowledge Needed to Solve Everyday Challenges.

One of the lessons from the book focuses on the importance of fire safety procedures and how to prepare in the event of a fire in your home.

As the mother-of-three chatted about her latest literary production, radio host Carol went on to confess to her childhood fears that have dogged her throughout adulthood.

Discussing topics covered in Myleene’s book – including fire safety – Carol said online: “Well, that’s going to be my next topic to be completely honest, because that’s probably what I’m going to do next. my biggest fear.”

Carol explains: “You know, I’ve lived in a lot of different properties over the years.

“And it was like: ‘How are we going to get out? How are we going to get out?

“‘How are we going to get out?! What if there’s smoke?”

“Yes, to be honest, that was my biggest fear,” concluded Carol bluntly.

After the British Pride Awards presenter was admitted, Mylenne pointed out that although fire drills are often carried out in offices and schools, not many people have plans in place for their homes. their own.

The musician ponders whether perhaps it would be less frightening if people made the decision to educate themselves and their children about potential dangers and what they would do in an emergency.

Myleene went on to reveal how she even made learning about fire safety a fun game when educating her children.
