Mark Wright is apparently absent from the Soccer Aid 2022 squad – after previously being rated as one of the event’s stars before he outraged ITV by allegedly dropping a TV show via text document.
Reports last month suggested that the 35-year-old reality TV star’s name is now “mud” at ITV after he allegedly left The Games via text message at the eleventh hour leaving show bosses The process has to scramble to replace him and the headache doesn’t know what to do. to edit him out of the shot.
It has been suggested that Mark will be banned from working on future ITV projects, while his participation in Soccer Aid is believed to be his last appearance.
But now ITV has announced the “full lineup” of the stars participating in the televised charity soccer match – raising money for UNICEF – and Mark’s name has no longer been seen.
In a very clear statement, ITV wrote: “For England, in full: Harry Redknapp (Manager), Liam Payne (Captain) Lucien Laviscount, Tom Grennan, Chunkz, Gary Neville, Jamie Carragher, Fara Williams, Joe Cole, Alex Brooker and David Seaman (Goalkeeper Coach). ”
And the release goes on to state: “For Soccer Aid World XI FC, in full: Arsène Wenger (Manager), Usain Bolt (Captain) Martin Compston, Mo Gilligan, Chelcee Grimes, Patrice Evra and Robbie Keane.”
However, the statement also said: “More famous faces will be announced in the coming weeks.”

When asked to comment on Mark’s apparent absence from the original announcement, an ITV spokesman told the Mirror: “We’ve only announced a few names in this initial release – will be More information will be available shortly.”
It’s not clear if not including Mark in their first announcement was designed to be something of an annoyance to ex-star Towie.
Last month, it was alleged that Mark burned his bridges at ITV after allegedly leaving The Games via text message.
A source told The Sun at the time: “Mark’s name is mud at ITV at the moment. Bookers who are working on shows won’t come near Mark to show up.
“The only show they’re happy he’s on is Soccer Aid because he’s a man who’s been in so many faces and has been a part of the event for many years.”
However, Mark himself has denied he quit the show via text message and claims he has projects with ITV in the making.
He stated in a social media post this month: “Do not comment on this nonsense story for more than a week because it makes no sense and there are so many more important stories to worry about in the world. .
“Because it keeps getting repeated, here’s my comment. I’m not banned by ITV at all, in fact I’m doing a show for ITV three months from now.

“I ‘phoned’ the non-messaging producer to tell her I changed my mind on the show because I realized I had too many other commitments to make it work.
“The media that wrote this is not to blame. They can only believe what the person who is creating this is telling them.”
