Myths of the Empire was released through its publisher, Imperium Interactive. Vanguard International version has been launched with some new features. This also ends support for Steam Family Share.
The historical-inspired sandbox focuses on strategy, crafting, and survival, and gives players choices about how they want to play. Some can build and form cities while others can play with conquest in mind. The launch includes a number of new features, including events, a new Combat mode, a new Ink Dragon Cloak, and a new War Elephant mount. Building types and materials are also released, along with Clay Arrow wall traps and fish ponds for you to have a peaceful time away from the conflict.
The final launch lasted months of controversy that began when the game entered Early Access, and was subsequently removed from Steam and subsequently involved in legal action regarding copyright claims from Snail Games. With legal efforts to block the game from Steam without offering a quick turnaround, the publisher, along with developer Angela Game, decided to continue developing and publishing, including the game’s first event and finally the server and platform release separately. The legal controversy is expected to continue this month, but a final decision could take a while.
New servers and a proprietary launcher are now in use. While some players were still able to launch the game through Steam and remain on their existing servers, Steam Family Share has been discontinued, despite a brief period of character duplication. to the new server
Myths of the Empire will launch at a special price of $20.99 for launch week and will mark the release with a series of events, including Twitch Drops, a release day giveaway, and a double EXP event throughout the weekend.
