Two rappers known for their harsh lyrics are locked in a bizarre war of words after clashing on social media.

Sharpey Major claims N-Dubz star Dappy sent him vile texts after an argument that began with “childish insults”.

The pair have been involved in a long feud and Sharpey, 31, contacted police last month about the alleged taunts.

Some are said to be talking about his father, Allan, who passed away in 2019.

The rapper passed away three years ago after Sharpey reported items had gone missing from his studio.

He canceled a recording slot Dappy had booked and accused the former Celebrity Big Brother contestant of behaving like “a diva”.

It is now confirmed that Dappy – real name Costas Contostavlos, 30 – recently posted an abusive forum about Sharpey’s father.

The alleged messages were reported to Thames Valley Police last month.

Sharpey, whose songs include Sorry and So Sexy, claims that the feud has affected his mental health and affected his income, he claims, Dappy has criticized him with fellow rap stars.

Essex rapper Sharpey said: ‘Someone stole my studio so I went to the police, like everyone else. I couldn’t believe it when he returned to the playground with childish insults, calling me an asshole.

Sharpey Major previously called Dappy a ‘diva’

“He told me to accept the abuse. I was so shocked and couldn’t believe what I was hearing.

“This is someone who is already famous and in the public eye.

“It affected my mental health – the character assassinated my name. On top of everything else going on at the time.

“I still haven’t had a chance to grieve over my deceased father and all this abuse just keeps playing around in my mind.”

Dappy is a cousin to band member and former X Factor judge Tulisa, 33.
