Naomi Osaka reveals the gender of her baby

Naomi Osaka and her boyfriend, rapper Cordae, recently revealed the gender of their unborn baby with sweet photos.
On Friday the four-time Grand Slam singles winner shared a slideshow of photos on Instagram signaling that the couple is expecting a girl. A sign reading “A little princess is on the way” was seen in some pictures, which were apparently taken at a celebration of the upcoming birth of their little one.
Cordae also celebrated the news in an Instagram story on Friday. One photo shows the rapper kissing Osaka’s bare stomach, with a text overlay that reads “#GirlDad.”

Osaka announced her pregnancy on social media earlier this year with an ultrasound image and a message to fans.
“I realize that life is so short and I don’t take any moments for granted,” she wrote in her January post, while also confirming plans to play at the 2024 Australian Open.
Last month, Osaka criticized people who had questioned their future in tennis after the pregnancy announcement.
“There are many male athletes with children who are significantly less successful. Maybe you should take care of them instead,” she says tweeted at that time.
And although she only publicly announced her baby’s gender this week, Osaka had previously done so told today that she revealed it to Cordae and a small circle of family and friends at a party months earlier.
“It was hard to keep it a secret, but I also knew it would be a lot more fun to surprise him and everyone else during the party,” she told the outlet. “So it was worth the wait.”
