Nate Diaz slams Khabib’s career following induction of UFC icon into Hall of Fame

Nate Diaz has hit out at fellow UFC star Khabib Nurmagomedov because he is “scared” of other fighters.

Khabib retired unbeaten 29-0 as the lightweight champion in 2020 shortly after retaining his title by submitting then-interim titleholder Justin Gaethje.

The result was the Russian’s third consecutive successful defense of the belt he won in 2018, with his other defenses facing former champion Conor McGregor and then-interim champion Dustin Poirier. Khabib beat both men by submission.

However, Diaz (20-13) has now criticized Nurmagomedov’s record and opened up about the 33-year-old’s recent induction into the UFC Hall of Fame.

“Khabib is a damn little bitch,” the American continued The MMA lesson. “Who did he beat for the title?

“He has Dustin Poirier and Justin Gaethje? They both took down over and over again just like he beat them.

“Youre not good. You’re a terrified fighter, afraid to fight all the time and now you’re in the hall of fame?

“I was here before the Hall of Famers actually showed up. Now you’re a Hall of Famer? I don’t want anything to do with the Hall of Fame. The Hall of Fame is a joke.”

Diaz is embroiled in a contract dispute with the UFC, a battle remains over the 37-year-old’s current contract, but the American is unable to agree on an opponent.

Diaz last fought in June 2021, suffering a decision loss to Leon Edwards. Nate Diaz slams Khabib’s career following induction of UFC icon into Hall of Fame
