Ncuti Gatwa will star as Doctor Who’s Fourteenth Doctor
The BBC has named Ncuti Gatwa as Doctor Who‘s Fourteenth Doctor. Gatwa will take over the role in 2023, replacing Jodie Whittaker as the current doctor.
“This role and show means so much to so many around the world, including myself, and each of my incredibly talented predecessors has handled this unique responsibility and privilege with the utmost care,” Gatwa said in a statement to the BBC. “I will do my best to do the same.”
