Our Father: Netflix releases trailer for Donald Cline documentary

Netflix fans have recovered from their illness after previewing the upcoming documentary Our Father.

The highly anticipated film tells the story of former fertility doctor Donald Cline, who gave birth to 50 or more children by illegal artificial insemination of women.

The story first came to light in 2016 after a brother and sister went to a local news station and since then, the story of the half-brothers has taken the world by storm.

The two-minute teaser trailer begins with the voice of a woman: “Growing up, I feel different. I’m 35 years old and I got a DNA test.”

It then shifts to another female and male who talk about how the story unraveled for them when they realized they had a lot of relatives they knew nothing about.

“I think it was a sick experiment on him. Most of us have blonde hair, blue eyes. It’s almost like this perfect Aryan. It’s disgusting,” another woman said.

Another clip shows a woman saying, “I had to tell my husband ‘we just found out that Julie isn’t yours’,” as her daughter sobbed beside her.

Incredibly, the trailer reveals that “legally there is no criminal involved in this particular act” but the siblings still don’t give up.

“He wants me to keep quiet but I will never back down, I will fight to expose all your secrets,” another woman said as another said they “fear every match.” newcomer” in case it’s someone they know. or someone they’re already dating.

The first trailer for the documentary shows a mother and her daughter accepting the news

The documentary, directed by Lucie Jourdan, features Jacoba Ballard, one of the first to learn that Cline is her father.

Ballard learned she was conceived through a sperm donor and searched for her half-siblings in 2014, which led to her and three other women taking DNA tests.

They eventually discovered that Cline had fathered more than 50 children without his patients knowing.

Cline has told his patients that the donors are medical people, claiming he has only used each donor’s sperm for three successful pregnancies. But their unusually large number of half-siblings tell a different story, which will be explored in the upcoming documentary.

Decades later, Donald Cline’s ‘children’ come together in pursuit of justice

Fans were immediately shocked after seeing the trailer and took to Twitter to comment.

“Disgustingly fascinating… Yes, I think that’s appropriate. Check out the Netflix documentary about the disgraced (and terrifying) fertility doctor Donald Cline in #OurFather,” one person said.

Another tweeted: “#OurFather on Netflix is truly insane,” while a third posted: “The #OurFather documentary coming to Netflix is wiiiiild.”
