Lupine Part 2: Netflix releases gripping trailer for new series
Hit Netflix heist series Lupine reportedly suffered a £250,000 equipment robbery on set while filming.
This comes after thieves stole £150,000 worth of gems and antiques from the set of Netflix series The Crown as the series is filming its fifth season.
The theft is believed to have happened on the set of the French mystery thriller just days after The Crown’s gems and cutlery were stolen.
Netflix confirmed there was an “incident” on the Paris set on February 25 as the upcoming season was being filmed following the adventures of gentleman thief Arsène Lupin.
A spokesman for the streaming platform told Entertainment Weekly: “Our cast and crew are safe and there have been no injuries. We have now resumed filming.”

Around 20 people reportedly broke into the set and stole €300,000 worth of equipment – the equivalent of £250,000 – after throwing mortar fireworks.
According to Agence France-Presse, the thieves stormed the set when French actor Omar Sy, who plays the protagonist, appeared in a scene.
The robbery took place in a neighborhood in Nanterre, on the outskirts of Paris, and filming resumed on Monday after a brief hiatus.
Filming on the heist thriller began in November, but a release date for the third part of the Netflix series has not yet been announced.

In the case of the theft from The Crown set, three vehicles were broken into in South Yorkshire during the final week of production, but Netflix said the robbery did not affect production and a police investigation is ongoing.
Among the 200 props stolen was an expensive replica of a Russian Fabergé egg bought by the Queen’s grandfather.
In addition to the copy of the egg acquired by King George V in 1933, candelabra, jewellery, a grandfather clock and a domed birdcage were stolen.
A Netflix spokesman said after the incident: “We can confirm that the antiques were stolen and we hope they are found and returned safely. replacement is procured; There is no expectation that filming will be held up.”
The Crown is set to return to Netflix in November for its fifth season and will feature an all-new cast as it follows the royal family’s journey into the late ’90s.
Imelda Staunton will play the next Queen Elizabeth, Jonathon Pryce will follow in the Duke of Edinburgh’s footsteps and Elizabeth Debicki will play a glamorous Princess Diana.
