Neverwinter is bringing back the chickens with April chickens this week

With April 1st coming this Friday, some games are returning to some of their silliest events. Never winter brings back the April Poultry Event as its latest announcement this week.

If you’ve never attended April Poultry, hopefully you like chickens. You will meet Earl the Chickenmancer who was cursed with Touch of the Chicken. This curse means he can turn things into chickens, and that’s what spirals out of control as a result. You can help him by cleaning up the feathery mess that’s happening everywhere. If you do, you can get your hands on a “fowl” mount to match, the brand new zombie chicken.

So far there is no new trailer for this year’s event, but you can get a taste of last year’s teasers.

There is another side of the event that you can participate in, Fight of the Fowls. Essentially, this is a 5v5 chicken-based PvP. The availability of this restricted mode will last throughout the event, which begins March 31st at 7:30am PT and ends April 14th. You can change the chicken classes during the games designed as fast paced games. Also this year there will be the Ne-cro-mancer chicken to switch into, but access is only possible by acquiring Basic Bok’s Daily seeds.

Yes, everything starts rolling at the event. So if you’re willing to help out Earl, and maybe even fight a little fowl on the side, you can walk away with a few rewards. These include the new Zombie Chicken mount and Zombie Chick cosmetic pet, Chicken Charm, Baby Chick, Chick Magnets, Hot Wings and more.
