The NEW Eden project has been kicked off, with plans to open a second UK location in 2024.

The new project will similarly feature four “shell-like” domes surrounded by outdoor gardens as it hopes to “reimagine British seaside resorts for the 21st century”.
The domes – called Rhythm Machine, Bay Glade, Bay Hall and Nature Observatory – will house hundreds of species of flora and fauna inside, as well as theater experiences and educational programs for both children and adults. adult.
Also at the new Eden Project will be two restaurants with both indoor and outdoor seating, and superb views of Morecambe Bay.
Head down to the bay and there will be a tidal pool open to visitors.
Ticket prices have yet to be revealed, but those who do not purchase tickets will be able to enter some of the outdoor gardens.
This is a “critical moment” for the project, and they hope to find more funding later this year, said David Harland, CEO of Eden Project International.
The tourist destination hopes to welcome 760,000 visitors a year and create 400 new jobs.
Eden in Cornwall has welcomed more than 22 million visitors to date and added more than £2.2 billion to the region’s economy since opening in 2001.
Other projects include the Eden Dundee Project, which will hopefully be the first of its kind in Scotland.
