A search is underway for a white semi-truck in New Jersey after a woman is said to be spotted bloodied, screaming and seemingly in distress.

The woman was seen screaming for help in the cab of the truck on Route 130 toward the Ridge Road exit around 2 p.m. Wednesday Police South Brunswick.

A witness said the woman appeared to be bleeding from her face and reported that the male truck driver “pulled her back into the cab,” police said.

The witness was a customer at a dealership who saw the articulated lorry stop and saw the woman try to jump away. NBC New York reported.

Police said the woman almost completely exited the taxi before being forced back inside.

Grainy footage Shared by police shows a person who saw the woman walking toward the truck before it sped quickly onto a busy road.

On Wednesday evening, police described the vehicle as a white Volvo semi-truck with blue letters on the side.

The victim was described as a white or Hispanic woman in her 20s with long brown hair wearing a brown flannel shirt.

The suspect was described as an elderly balding white male with a white beard.
