New Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak weapon cases have 100% more Insect Glaive

Though it’s still over a month away (arriving June 30), Capcom is promoting it sun break – the big upcoming expansion for Monster Hunter Rise – very much. Recently we took a look at the single player Pursuit Quests, and a series of Weapon Showcase Videos has also been launched, highlighting new moves and the upcoming Switch Skill Swap ability.

In the first episode, we saw Sword & Shield, Switch Axe, and Heavy Bowgun, and we have three more videos to enjoy. Fortunately, this includes the Insect Glaive, which in this author’s humble opinion is the greatest of all Monster Hunter weapons, though it’s certainly been weakened a bit in Rise. Many players are multi-weapon proficient, but some have a favorite that they return to every timewhich is an equally fun way to play.
