If news of the missing tourist submersible on a trip to see the wrecks of the Titanic has rekindled your interest in the 1912 sea disaster, you may want to keep your Netflix subscription. The hit 1997 film Titanic will soon be available on the streaming service.
Netflix is expected to add nearly 100 titles in July, including Titanic, which will be available on the platform on the first day of the month. The 2005 adaptation of Pride and Prejudice is also out July 1, so Succession fans (and especially Tom Wambsgans) can enjoy Matthew Macfadyen in the iconic role of Mr Darcy.
Other older films in the July lineup include the Rush Hour trilogy, the 1989 John Candy film Uncle Buck and 2012’s Snow White and the Huntsman, and the sequel The Huntsman: 2016’s Winter War. For those who love a zombie movie, there’s also 2013’s paranormal romantic comedy Warm Bodies.
As for more recent projects, movie fans can look forward to the July 21 release of They Cloned Tyrone. John Boyega, Teyonah Parris and Jamie Foxx (who also produced the film) star as an unlikely trio drawn into a sinister government cloning plot.
Several popular Netflix shows are also starting new seasons next month. Season 2 of The Lincoln Lawyer will consist of two parts, releasing on July 6th and then August 3rd. The second half of Season 3 of The Witcher will also be released on July 27th. Meanwhile, Season 3 of Sweet Magnolias is out. ” will be released on July 20th.
Fans of The Great British Baking Show can enjoy Season 7 of The Great British Baking Show: The Professionals on July 26th.
