New World has again disabled wealth transfers after item dupe exploit

New world disabled wealth transfers again to fight an item duplication exploit. This time Amazon is assuring players that they are working as hard as they can to fix the issue, but they are also already actively penalizing those who took advantage.

Since New world Released in September, players have experienced multiple times that asset transfers have been disabled to combat exploits. The team recently released the February update dedicated to fixing bugs and improving performance. Well, while it’s always possible for a game update to break something, members of the community who have experienced this multiple times are understandably frustrated.

As there is no estimated time when transfers will be up and running again, some community members are calling for invasions to be delayed or disabled while trading is disabled as it makes gearing your business difficult or impossible. Others are wondering about the impact on the economy and are calling for a possible rollback.

Since we’ve been here before, the Amazon team has updated the announcement to say that the team is working to fix the root cause of the duplication issue and that they are also suspending and banning players using the exploit during the time in who he was available.

“We are also in the process of suspending or banning players who have been involved in the use of this exploit depending on the severity of the usage and removing any items they posted in the trading post to mitigate the impact of this bug on the global economy to further minimize. ”

Speaking to the community’s frustration, CM TrevzorFTW conceded that “exploits suck” and also urged players to go to the PTR to “help us break this build before it goes live” and possibly prevent the next intrusive error.
