Newcastle star Matty Longstaff joins LEAGUE TWO Mansfield on loan after a disastrous game in Aberdeen

NEWCASTLE star Matty Longstaff has joined League Two Mansfield on loan.
The Toon midfielder, 21, endured a harsh temporary spell at Aberdeen during the first half of the season.
He managed just five appearances for the Dons before being recalled in December.
He’s now made a splash with his move to the East Midlands.
Nigel Clough’s Stags is sixth in the fourth tier, just three points behind those automatically promoted.
And now they have Longstaff to bolster their accountability.
“To get a good midfielder with Premier League experience was a coup for us,” Clough said.
“We look forward to partnering with Matty and helping him play regularly.

“For Harry Charsley to come to Port Vale, it’s a good reinforcement for us in midfield.”
England U20 players wear two teams boom scene at the age of 19.
He scored a great winner against Manchester United on his Premier League debut at St James’ Park.
His sweet cut from the edge of the D edged David De Gea into the bottom corner and delivered the famous 1-0 win for the club he joined as a youngster.
And it also brought home the teenager when it was October’s 2019 Premier League goal.
Longstaff, brother of a colleague Warblers Ace Sean, signed a new contract in 2020 but that expires at the end of this season as his career goes downhill.
He still only has 30 high profile appearances to his name.
The last Newcastle complete the signing of Dan Burn from Brighton on the deadline day.
He followed Kieran Trippier, Chris Wood and Bruno Guimaraes to rich Toon in January.
