Newcastle United take home the FIFA 23 Premier League Player of the Month

Three Newcastle United players were nominated for October’s Player of the Month but only one of them was able to win the Boosted Card.

September was won by Manchester United striker Marcus Rashford despite being the only striker in a sea of ​​midfielders.

In October, however, a midfielder finally won as Miguel Almirón claims Player of the Month in FIFA 23.

Almirón beat eight other players to earn his card, including Erling Haaland, Kevin De Bruyne, Kepa Arrizabalaga, Leandro Trossard and Granit Xhaka.

He also beat two of his teammates, Kieran Trippier and Bruno Guimarães.

Almirón had a strong month in October when he was named man of the match in Newcastle’s 4-1 win over Fulham.

Despite his position, he has scored an impressive six goals this season.

His Player of the Month card gives him a whopping 7 point boost, taking him from 78 to 85.

Almirón’s stat boosts overall are well above the previous two winners, Haaling and Rashford.

That means his card will be highly sought after and something to keep an eye out for this month.

Here are Almirón’s base stats compared to his Player of the Month card:

• pacing – Base = 86 / PotM = 93 (+7)

• shoot – Base = 71 / PotM = 82 (+9)

• pass – Base = 73 / PotM = 81 (+8)

• dribbling – Base = 79 / PotM = 86 (+7)

• defense – Base = 53 / PotM = 60 (+7)

• physicality – Base = 61 / PotM = 70 (+9)

Almirón’s new Player of the Month card is available in FIFA Ultimate Team (FUT) packs from now until the end of the month.

After that, they are only available at an inflated price on the in-game transfer market.
