Maybe we’ll finally get a proper look at The Callisto Protocol next week as news on the game is expected to drop.
News of forthcoming information came from Glen SchofieldFounder and CEO of developer Striking Distance Studios.
Revealed at The Game Awards 2020, we’ve only seen the cinematic trailer so far, so hopefully we’ll see some gameplay next week.
Developed by the team behind the survival horror franchise Dead Space, The Callisto Protocol is a whole new take on the genre. The release for PC and console is planned for later this year.
Set on Jupiter’s moon Callisto in the year 2320, the game challenges you to escape from the Black Iron maximum security prison and uncover its terrifying secrets. With that, you can expect a mix of horror, action, and compelling storytelling.
It’s also set 300 years into the future of the PUBG universe, which makes sense given the fact that Striking Distance 2019 was published by PUBG publisher PUBG Corp. was founded to work on games set in the PUBG universe.
