Emmerdale’s viewers will be faced with a sinister comeback, followed by a week’s worth of episodes and glimpses into the future when life hangs in the balance.
Last week’s Emmerdale’s boom will feature a “scary” stunt that will be the first of its kind to appear on the soap.
In the episodes that air from Monday, May 9, viewers will be faced with a sinister comeback, followed by week-long episodes and glimpses of the future. when lives are dangling in the balance.
Among those involved were Noah, whose obsession with Chloe had taken to a new level; Gabby, who’s been pushed to the limit in the wake of Jamie Tate’s return; and Cain and Al, whose competitive spirals spiral out of control,
And to create a highly impactful movie, the bosses shot a massive stunt never seen before on the show.
New filming techniques have also been implemented to make viewers feel as if they are directly at the center of all the action.
“As with all the exciting drama of the week there will also be action and action sequences,” Emmerdale executive producer Laura Shaw told the Mirror and other news outlets. “We shot a pretty big stunt, which was a lot of fun to plan and build.
“I don’t think we’ve done anything like it before – not in the 20 years I’ve been at Emmerdale anyway – and we’ve had a lot of conversations and discussions about how we got to this point. I remember we came up with the story idea and we were all sitting in a big conference room and I presented this idea and said, ‘This is what I want us to do’.
“And I think everyone sat and watched me in stunned silence for about two minutes before all the brilliant people jumped in with a million great ideas about how we could do it. In the end, we did. I had to build a very special prop, which we’ll see in the episodes, to do the stunt effectively and of course we need to do it safely.
“We also used some new cinematography for one of the stunts, which makes you feel like you’re right in the middle of the action and I can tell you it’s absolutely terrifying!
“Again, I don’t think we’ve ever done that on Emmerdale before so it’s really amazing to watch an incredibly talented team do new and exciting things and make the show look completely different. so amazing.”
Revealing that they’ve been planning this week “for a while,” Laura explains in more detail what viewers can expect from the explosive week.
She said: “So on the Friday episode before the big week, you get a taste of what’s going to happen. So we close out the week with the sets of characters that will appear over the next week,” she said. , as it is affectionately known in Emmerdale Command.
“So Noah and his obsession with Chloe, Gabby, and his fear of Jamie coming back to capture Thomas, we’ll see some things going on with Faith that she keeps a secret, but at We’ll also see Cain and Al’s rivalry resurgence and I can promise you that’s going to be a huge turning point during the special week and lives will certainly be in jeopardy.
“As we get into the big week – Monday, we’re going to start with a fast-forward where you’re going to absolutely scream into your TV to find out what the hell is going on. I think I really do. We were screaming with excitement when we saw what was going to happen next week and then we revealed a little more each day – Monday through Thursday with a prologue where everything was clear to be. Full disclosure at the end of the week.
“So like we said before, we see Noah’s obsession with Chloe culminate a little bit and we’ll see Gabby pushed to the limit at Home Farm. We know that Jamie Tate is still there. If so, how long will Gabby go to protect her son and prevent him from being taken from her?
“There are actually some lovely scenes that explore motherhood in these episodes – not just with Gabby but with Faith as well with her big, big, and shocking secret. That was revealed to Moira. – she’s the one she shares it with. There were some really touching scenes this week with Moira and Faith.
“Cain and Al – we know these two have a smoldering rivalry that’s been building for months now, so we think it’s going to explode when these two go head-to-head again. will be gone for the week unscathed or something big will happen. will change the dynamics between these two forever?”
