Nick Jonas and his wife Priyanka Chopra have shared their first thoughts on their young daughter.

The singer and actress welcomed their joy back in January, through an agent.

Their little one was supposed to be born 12 weeks early and she is finally home after 100 days in the NICU.

Four months later, the couple posted a photo of their first child – Malti Marie.

The mother and father cradled their daughter in the stunning photo, but covered her face with a heart emoji to protect her identity.

Priyanka captioned the post: “On this Mother’s Day, we can’t help but reflect on the past few months and the roller coaster ride we’ve been on, which we now know, so many people have taken too. experience.

“After more than 100 days in the NICU, our young daughter is finally home. Every family’s journey is unique and requires a certain level of faith, and while we are a few challenging month, what becomes clear, in retrospect, was precious and perfect each moment was.

“We’re overjoyed that our little girl is finally home, and just want to thank all the doctors, nurses and experts at Rady Children La Jolla and Cedar Sinai, Los Angeles, who who was there forgetting himself every step of the way. Our next chapter starts now, and our baby really is a bada**. Please understand it MM! I love you.”

She concluded: “Happy Mother’s Day to all the mothers and caregivers in my life and out there. You made it look so easy. Thank you.

In January, the star couple confirmed they welcomed their baby on social media.

In separate matching posts, they wrote: “We are delighted to confirm that we have welcomed a baby through surrogate.

“We respectfully ask for privacy during this special time as we focus on our families. Thank you very much.”

The birth certificate revealed that their child was born shortly after 8 p.m. on January 15, 2022 at a hospital in San Diego.
