Nick Jonas Honors Priyanka Chopra Jonas With The Cutest Mother’s Day Greeting
“Happy Mother’s Day, my dear. you are an amazing mom You brighten up the world of me and MM every day,” Jonas wrote on Instagram alongside a cozy photo and video of the actor and his 15-month-old daughter, Malti Marie.
The couple, who are 10 years apart in age, first met after he privately messaged Chopra on Twitter. The lovebirds got engaged in July 2018 the knot tied just a few months later in December. They welcomed Malti as a surrogate in January 2022.
Last year, the happy couple shared theirs first public photo by Malti almost four months after her birth. In the cute picture posted to her Instagram pages, Priyanka holds her baby close to her breast while Nick gazes at him lovingly.
“On this Mother’s Day we can’t help but think about the last few months and the roller coaster ride that we have experienced and which we now know so many people have experienced as well,” the 40-year-old wrote about her post. “After more than 100 days in the NICU, our little girl is finally home.”
Malti was born prematurely and gave birth a full trimester before birth. Chopra told British Vogue that the newborn was fragile and “smaller than my hand” and would need to be taken to a neonatal intensive care unit in Los Angeles, California for three months.
Sharing his own touching statement on his page, the Jonas Brothers singer wrote, “I would like to take a minute to extend a special Mother’s Day wish to my amazing wife @priyankachopra on her first Mother’s Day.”
He added: “I’m so grateful to be with you on this journey. You are already an incredible mother. Happy Mother’s Day. I love you.”
The Jonas Brothers released their sixth studio album,The album” on Friday and are expected to embark on a US tour in August.
