Nicolas Winding Refn Brings Neon and Noir to Netflix

As the first trailer shows, “Copenhagen Cowboy” looks like it has all the hallmarks of a typical Nicolas Winding Refn project: a criminal underworld, gory action sequences, and loads of light. bisexual light. If you’re a fan of what Nicolas Winding Refn does, this trailer promises to have a ton of things you love about his work, as Netflix was hooked by his offering and for him. his latitude to accomplish what he wants. I imagine if you’re not yet at Refn’s level this probably won’t discourage you from that point of view, although perhaps seeing him back in his homeland will make all the elements better. a little more for some people.

“Copenhagen Cowboy” still doesn’t have a Netflix release date beyond “later this year,” but it will premiere at the Venice Film Festival on September 9. Here’s the official synopsis:
