NICOLE Scherzinger angered her fellow Pussycat Dolls by canceling their comeback tour – without telling them.
Former X Factor judge Nicole, 43, took to Instagram to confirm that the tour – which was initially postponed due to the Covid pandemic – has been put on hold for good.
She wrote: “Thank you to everyone who got tickets to PCD – we appreciate your support and loyalty!
“Given the evolving situation surrounding the pandemic, I understand the decision to cancel the tour date.
“I’ve invested a lot of time, creative energy and my own finances in bringing this project back to life, and although I’m deeply saddened by this decision, I’m also very proud of the achievements that I have made. What can we achieve in the short amount of time we had together before COVID.
“I cannot put into words the love, admiration and gratitude I have for the other girls in the group and the fans who have supported us.
“Stay safe and healthy – Love and blessings.”
But band members Carmit Bachar and Jessica Sutta reacted, posting the same statement to their own Instagram feeds.
It said: “We would like to say that we are extremely disappointed to hear an announcement was made on Instagram that the Pussycat Dolls reunion tour has been cancelled. Currently, there has been no official announcement regarding the cancellation of the Pussycat Dolls reunion tour. that.
Either way, it seems like the end of a chapter for an incredible life-changing experience, filled with wonderful memories for which we will forever be grateful.
“To the fans, we love you. Trust us, this is not the result we had hoped for. We want it as much as you do because we appreciate you all so much and we are heartbroken that you have waited so long for an answer, but unfortunately it is beyond our control. . “
It came after the report Nicole was sued by the creator of Pussycat Dolls Robin Antin after threatening to pull out of her highly anticipated reunion tour unless her need for “complete creative control” is met.
Based on Hollywood Report Legal documents allege the couple made a deal in 2019 with Nicole accepting a 49% cut.
Robin now claims Nicole43 years old, has changed his mind and is claiming majority control and 75% ownership of the business venture.
The documents say she is “currently refusing to join the tour” and “requires renegotiating the terms of the MOU” while asking for majority control.
