The hit action role-playing game Nier: Automata being made into an anime.
Announced today by developer Square Enix in the course of the game 5th Anniversary Live Streamthe adaptation will turn the Japanese video game into a television anime series.
ONE brief intro gives us a glimpse of the cartoon style. Along with the trailer, Square Enix also revealed 2B with its companion robot Pod:
According to a translation official statement, the story sounds as if it takes place close to the original game. Humans fled to the moon in the face of an “overwhelming force” of machine life forms, and combat android 2B was sent to retake the planet.
The original Nier: Automata is set in a proxy war between alien-made machines and man-made robots, vying for control of planet Earth. The story follows the stories of fighting android 2B, android 9S of scanners and the A2 rogue prototype – requires multiple plays to unlock the full story.

Although the game is considered one of the Top 25 PS4 titlesthe PC version has been met with some criticism – its Steam version in particular, get a bunch of fixes last year, including 4K UI textures, improved cutscenes, and more.
