Scientists recently discovered this Tea is a super drink which can help with a whole range of ailments.
A cup of tea can fight cancer, ease heart disease and lower the risk of dementia, says the US Tea Council.
dr Taylor Wallace of the US Tea Council said, “This rich beverage is one that people can easily add to improve their diet and live healthier, longer lives.”
Earlier this year, the University of Birmingham reported that hot cocoa can make you smarter.
So boil the kettle and get ready to find out which super drinks you should be drinking.
Hot cocoa – makes you smarter
Hot chocolate could make you better in a pub quiz, according to scientists.
Cacao contains many of the nutrients flavanols, which boost oxygen in the brain.
This increases your ability to think clearly and do tasks well, says the University of Birmingham.

However, for this to work, it must be hot cocoa and not a processed alternative.
Coffee – Lowers the risk of diabetes
A cup of coffee doesn’t just make your eyes shine and your tail bushy.
It can also lower your chances develop type 2 diabetes according to Harvard University.
Their study found that people who drank an extra cup of coffee a day had an 11 percent lower risk of developing type 2 diabetes.
But if you already have the disease, they warned, coffee could have the adverse effect and make things worse.
Red Wine – Treatment of Endometriosis Symptoms
According to scientists, a full-bodied red is exceptionally good for reducing the pain of endometriosis.
The skins of red grapes used to make the wine contain a compound called resveratrol.
The herbal compound has been shown to reduce inflammation and, as a result, pelvic pain.

Whiskey – Good for your heart
A sip of whiskey can warm you up and also reduce the risk of heart failure.
A study conducted by the Rowett Research Institute in Aberdeen states that a small amount of whiskey a week is actually good for your heart.
A single malt contains the highest amount of antioxidants that prevent the formation of plaque in the blood vessels.
But history qualifies that a maximum of seven small glasses of whiskey should be drunk per week.
Cola – Helps digestion

According to a report in Alimentary Pharmacology and Therapeutics, scientists are using Coca-Cola to treat painful gastric phytobezoars.
The disease can cause an intestinal obstruction if left untreated – sometimes leading to surgery.
However, research has shown that 90 percent of the time, coke also does the job by clearing blockages.
Watermelon Juice – Improves your sex life
If you aim to please the ladies, a watermelon could be the answer.
Juice containing the fruit contains L-citrulline, which appears to be able to give you a downward boost.
The amino acid converts to nitric oxide, which boosts your blood flow. Scientists found that this makes your manhood, uh, harder.
Water – helps to lose weight
Yes, it’s not exactly a revelation, but water is probably the best drink you can drink.
According to a 2009 US study, drinking water burns up to a third more calories for an hour.
A 2008 California study showed that women who drink an extra liter of water a day burn up to 4.4 pounds over the course of a year without changing their diet.
Cherry juice – good for the memory
A glass of cherry juice daily can help keep your brain healthy into old age.
A University of Delaware study found that people between the ages of 65 and 73 who drank one glass every day for 12 weeks saw benefits.
Study participants underwent a memory test, and those who drank the juice instead of a placebo had higher scores.
Vodka – prevents blood clots
Vodka is not only antiseptic, but also good for the circulatory system.
A shot can increase blood flow and circulation in your body, which can help prevent dangerous blood clots.
It has also been shown to lower cholesterol levels.
But drinking too much can lead to fatty liver, so best in moderation.
Bovril – good for pregnancy
It may not be pregnancy cravings, but Bovril contains nutrients that are essential for pregnancy.
One serving contains one-fifth of the recommended daily dose of folic acid Daily Mail.
The NHS recommends pregnant women get 400 micrograms of folic acid daily to help prevent birth defects.
