As the first week of February draws to a close, Nintendo has announced its first Nintendo Direct for 2023.
The live stream begins February 8 at 2pm PT / 5pm EST and is expected to last around 40 minutes, a tweet from Nintendo confirmed. As for content, we can expect to see “information mostly focused on Nintendo Switch games coming out in the first half of 2023.”
It’s highly likely that other releases will be confirmed to fall within this time frame, such as Kirby’s Return to Dreamland Deluxe, which is currently slated for February 24th, and Bayonetta Origins: Cereza and the Lost Demon, which is slated for release on March 17th . March.
While they lack concrete release dates outside of 2023, there’s also a chance we’ll get new information about the long-awaited Pikmin 4 or the highly-anticipated Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.
As usual, Nintendo may have some surprises in store for us. Metroid Prime 4’s release is still a big question mark as we enter 2023, and so is the uncertain Advance Wars 1+2: ReBoot Camp release window after it was delayed due to the ongoing situation in Ukraine.
As always, Twinfinite will be here to wrap up the Direct and all of its announcements once the Direct itself airs.
