Earlier this week, Nintendo announced the release of the N64 classic MarioGolf in the Switch Online Expansion Pack. It means the remaining games (which have already been revealed) are included Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards and Pokemon Snap.

There are a few Miscellaneous Games we know about too, but the catch is they’ll both be regionally exclusive to Japan. If you need a reminder, Japan will come eventually Custom Robo and Custom Robo V2. Although this has been highlighted before, it seems that at least one of these releases could be coming very soon.

In a similar but different version of the updated Switch Online Expansion Pack trailer for Japan, you can see an image of the Custom Robo V2 box art during the N64 segment. This again confirms the game and also suggests that it will be released either before or after the release of Kirby 64 and Pokémon Snap in the near future.

You can see it all around 1:20 mark in the lower right corner of the video below:

Again, we already knew that the custom Robo games would eventually come to Japan’s N64 service – still, it’s just nice to have this little reminder. The Nintendo website in Japan also indicates that the following games will ship in the future:

As mentioned in our original story on Robo custom games coming to Japan, these titles will be available to anyone with access to a Japanese Nintendo Account. All you have to do is download this app using one of these accounts to play these regional exclusives.

Want to see the N64 custom robo games released locally? Will you try them through Japan’s N64 app? What other N64 titles should Nintendo release in the future? As always, leave your thoughts below. Nintendo is highlighting another N64 title coming soon to the Switch Online expansion pack in Japan
