No COVID vaccine requirement allows travel for all

Disney Cruise Line joins the majority of cruise lines in eliminating COVID-19 vaccination requirements on some ships.

The cruise line said that effective Oct. 14, COVID vaccines will no longer be required for passengers 12 and older on Disney Dream, Disney Fantasy, Disney Wish and Disney Wonder cruise ships. The Disney Magic cruise ship will make the change on November 14. 7.

Disney eased its COVID vaccine requirements for passengers ages 5 to 11 in early September. Disney said policy changes are subject to local regulations.

With the update, Disney is requiring passengers age 5 and older who are unvaccinated to present a negative COVID test taken one to two days prior to embarkation. The cruise line said it will accept an antigen, PCR or nucleic acid amplification test (NAAT).

A COVID test is not required for passengers 5 years and older who are fully vaccinated, but proof of vaccination is required. Children under the age of 4 do not require proof of vaccination or a COVID test.
