No Man’s Sky’s Sentinel Update Brings Combat Overhaul, AMD FSR, and Buildable AI Mech

No Man’s Sky like a gift that never stops giving. The latest update, called Sentinel, brings a heavy combat focus to No Man’s Sky, including a system overhaul, new animations and weapons, and the ultimate ability to create your own AI Mech friend. you to travel everywhere.
No Man’s Sky’s the free Sentinel update is packed with good features, but what most players might be drawn to is the ability to eventually create an AI module for Exo-Mech. This will allow your mech to go with you and drive away the Planetary Sentinel forces without having to drive a suit at all. Of course, you still can, and jumping into Exo-Mech will override the AI module while you’re at it.
In addition, the Sentinel update brings a terrifying new enemy to No Man’s Sky’s Planetary Sentinel Forces: Hardframe Mech Battle. This mech sports a powerful jet set, giving it more portability. Thankfully, with your new AI Minotaur-powered Exo-Mech, it will easier against these. You can also hack your Minotaur to bring on the traits of the Sentinel mech, giving you your very own Hardframe.

Also coming is AMD’s implementation of FidelityFX Super Resolution, giving players even more options to get even more performance out of the title. The Sentinel update also addressed Steam Deck compatibility, with Hello Games confirming that it will work natively on Valve’s new console.
Not to be missed, Nvidia GPU owners can also expect to see its own Deep Anti-Aliasing feature implemented with the Sentinel update.
