No More Heroes 3 is coming to PlayStation, Xbox and PC later this year

No more heroes 3 coming to PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X later this year.

publisher XSeed games announced the news on Friday (April 15) on its official Twitter account. “Our Favorite Otaku Assassin Returns!” tweeted XSeed Games. “Travis Touchdown was forced out of retirement to defend not only Santa Destroy but Earth itself! Equip the Beam katana and take on Travis’ toughest challenge yet in No More Heroes 3, coming this fall for PS4, PS5, Xbox and more PC!”

A specific release date was not mentioned with the announcement, other than the release window sometime in the fall. The tweet also revealed the game’s box art and what appears to be a special edition of the game. It looks like it will come with a soundtrack with artwork that makes incredibly obvious references to Akira, a book titled The Art of No More Heroes 3, and a license plate, although it’s a sticker, a Pin or an actual license plate acts in the air.

No More Heroes 3 was released exclusively for Nintendo Switch in August 2021. In VG247’s review of the game, we said, “Aside from the drudgery, No More Heroes 3 pulls off a tough task. games in general. Everyone expects crazy mayhem, and there’s often no one stone-faced other than someone sitting with their arms crossed, waiting to laugh. Last but not least, the latest Grasshopper Manufacture version knows how to make you smile the game four out of five.

While director Goichi Suda’s next game is a bit of a mystery at the moment, the creator of No More Heroes (better known as Suda51) is apparently interested in making a Deadpool game. Given the irreverent humor of the No More Heroes games, this would probably fit nicely, although of course nothing is confirmed.
