No Time To Die in Dolby Atmos and Vision has ruined cinemas for me

After months spent principally watching films at dwelling, I’ve been to the cinema to see two movies this week – the return of James Bond in No Time to Die, and Marvel’s newest blockbuster, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings. Each have been nice, and proper up my road – so why did I get pleasure from No Time to Die a lot extra?

The reply is easy. I noticed No Time to Die on the new Odeon Luxe cinema in central London, full with Dolby Vision HDR display screen and Dolby Atmos overhead encompass sound, whereas I noticed Shang-Chi at my poor previous customary multiplex. And I concern I can by no means return.

There may be now an more and more widening gulf between the standard of the presentation at a high-end cinema, and that of normal projection on the majority of different cinemas.
