The Oasis star has moved his wife and their two children to London’s Claridge’s Hotel for £1,000 a night while plumbers carry out emergency repairs to their home

Noel Gallagher was forced to head to a five-star hotel after the heating was packed up in his own rather luxurious home.
The 54-year-old Brit pop icon is set to stay at London’s top-notch hotel Claridge’s – and is said to be shelling out £1,000 a night for the fun.
The Don’t Look Back In Anger singer has brought his wife Sara MacDonald, 50, and their children Donovan, 14, and Sonny, 11.
The Gallaghers have chosen to stay in luxury after central heating stopped working in their family home – and are now enjoying all the luxuries of five-star living.

Noel told The Sun on Sunday: “We haven’t had heating for a week. The house is freezing. It takes a week to heat up again.
“I thought, ‘Fuck it, I can’t stay here, it’s depressing’.
“Well, we’re at Claridge’s, and why not? If you fucking could, you would.
“I had the day off, I was strolling around Soho trying not to get my picture taken, so I decided I was going to have a huge friggin’ afternoon tea with sandwiches and scones and it was great.”

The rocker went on to explain that he also met Hollywood actor Sean Penn at the hotel and the two spent an afternoon enjoying “a chinwag” together.
While Noel only had nice things to say about 61-year-old Sean, the same can’t be said about the star when it comes to his own brother.
Last week, Noel was a guest on the Matt Morgan Podcast when he addressed younger brother Liam Gallagher, 49, about his weight.
Noel said: “If he’s wearing a big coat, it’s usually because he’s got something big hiding underneath – a little belly.”
And it wasn’t just Liam’s waistline that Noel delivered a verbal slap for, he also disregarded his singing abilities by implying his range wasn’t up to par.
Noel snorted: “When I was writing for Oasis in the early days, I always heard Liam’s voice.
“I wrote the tune in the style he sang until it became such a restrictive, narrow way of writing that it’s like, ‘I can’t do this anymore.’
“That’s when the songs started to change, because once you’ve got it, you’ve got it.”
The wild digs are unlikely to help the brothers reconnect – as the pair have been frosty towards each other since the Oasis split in 2009.
Fans have been urging the boys to bury the hatchet and reform their iconic band – but rumors of a reunion have always fizzled.
In fact, Noel has debunked rumors that he and his brother have been offered £100million to get back together.
He tweeted at the time: Well… right between nailing the nails and my regular lecture class, I want to point out AGAIN that I’m not aware of any offer of reform of any magnitude from the legendary rock ‘n’ folk formation Oasis.”
