Northern Ireland election 2022: Sinn Féin on track to become Stormont’s largest party as count continues
The lineup was later resumed this morning in the Northern Ireland Assembly election, with Sinn Féin firmly on course to emerge as the largest Stormont party.
• Sinn Féin is on track to become the largest party with 250,388 initial preferences compared to 184,002 for the DUP
• Alliance becomes third force in Northern Ireland politics with 116,681 preferential votes
