Considering you might be asked to pay up to £70 for a new video game in the UK right now, Elden Ring seems to be an exception and a certified bargain to boot. Just expensive £45 from Amazon for Launch Edition, this is probably one of the most affordable new games to come out in a long time. While the exclusive publishers of PS5 and titles like Battlefield, Call of Duty or FIFA are looking to charge premium fees for UK gamers to play on the new generation consoles – Elden Ring belongs to the next generation. cross and have the same price across the board.
£70 is a big ask for gamers in the UK, as the average price for a new game is at least around £55 over a few years. However, the Elden Ring goes even further than that, dropping to just £45 on PS5, PS4 and Xbox. This is also not an omen of its quality. Elden Ring is currently one of the Best rated game of all time – and IGN itself even gave it one 10/10 ‘Masterpiece’ rating.
Not only that, but Elden Ring is quickly starting to sound like one of the most accessible FromSoftware games ever made. That’s not to say it’s not difficult – it absolutely will. But with its open-world elements, sheer number of class choices, and massively multiplayer (and supportive) co-op action, there’s no doubt that Elden Ring will appeal to a larger audience. beyond the usual framework. It seems that both die-hard fans, and those new to being introduced to FromSoft games, have plenty of reason to get excited.
Elden Ring is likely to attract even more gamers with overwhelmingly positive reviews and a price significantly lower than what we’ve come to expect from one of the biggest releases of the year. If you’d like to pre-order the game, I’ve left the links right below.
