Believe it or not, Made in Chelsea will soon be preparing for its 23rd series.
It’s hard to understand that we’ve been invested in the lives of booming societies for almost 11 years now.
Series one of the E4 show saw tears and fury in Belgravia, Knightsbridge and on King’s Road as the rich kids became famous too.
So much has changed since the cameras started rolling in affluent west London hotspots. The original stars of any long-running show always have a place in our hearts.
Made in Chelsea is no different, so we’ve stepped back through the years to remember the main cast who’ve made us fall in love with the movie as we check out what they’ve been up to so far.
The show’s bad boy, promiscuous Spencer spent most of his first year cheating on various girlfriends like Caggie Dunlop and Louise Thompson.
He left in 2015, all in preparation for I’m a Celebrity, which also ended in tears when he was forced to leave.
The star revealed that he kept his steroid addiction a secret from the manufacturers until he reached a point of despair when he sought help.
Since then, life has gotten better. Spencer became a father of two with his wife, model Vogue Williams. He also has a low alcohol beverage company, Clean Co, which sells premium spirits
But he still rolls around with the best of them.
He now has royal friends because his brother James Matthews is married to Pippa Middleton, sister of the Duchess of Cambridge.
Alexandra ‘Binky’ Felstead
There aren’t many fans who don’t actually love Binky.
She had her first MIC child with co-founder Josh ‘JP’ Patterson in 2017 with India now co-parent.
Now 31, the mother announced she welcomed her first child with fiance Max Darnton last year. They named their son Wolfie.
Binky remained a mainstay in the series until series 13, when she decided to go back to doing regulars.
Back in series one, she was Ollie’s confidant before he ended his relationship with Gabriella, and she even put together a skiing trip with friend Cheska.
The longstanding server is still visible to this day, but the past few months have not been easy.
Last month, Ollie and her husband Gareth announced that their surrogate had suffered a severe miscarriage.
Ollie, 34, and Gareth, have long been trying to have a baby and received the good news last November that she was pregnant.
But he said: “We hope that next year will be the year we get the child we want and deserve and need.”
His wedding to Gareth was the end of MIC series 20, a romantic ceremony held at the Natural History Museum that featured former member Binky.
Ollie has had a few hiatuses from the series over the years but has always returned and remains a fan favorite. He finished in third place on Celebrity Big Brother in 2014 and is the co-founder of UK-based gay dating app Chappy.
Millie Mackintosh and Hugo Taylor
Millie and Hugo had a very happy ending but it was definitely a bumpy ride.
What happened in series one really upset her after she found out her boyfriend Hugo was cheating on her with her best friend Rosie. Noisy.
After leaving the show in 2012, the beauty launched her own clothing brand and also has her own jewelry, eyelashes, books and workout videos.
The Quality Street heiress married rapper Professor Green in 2013 but they filed for divorce just two and a half years later.
Millie then rekindled her romance with Hugo and the pair mended in 2018. Then, in May 2020, Millie gave birth to their daughter Sienna. Then last December, they welcomed baby girl Aurelia.
One of the main stars of the early years, Caggie was a girl in need!
She was pursued by childhood sweetheart Spencer even though he was dating Funda at the time and they eventually got together – before she got fed up with being messed around.
She left the third series to pursue her singing career.
Caggie went on to host a podcast called Saturn Returns, described as aiming to bring clarity and calm to a time of transition, bolstered by an astrological process known as The Return of the Stars. Tho.
She once dated Scott Sullivan, Katie Price’s ex, who has also dated Jodie Marsh and Bianca Gascoigne, with sources saying at the time she was ’embarrassed’ by the dating history’ colorful’ by Scott.
Funda captivated us all from the very beginning – she was involved in the first Made in Chelsea love triangle.
The dancer is dating Spencer, but he’s also interested in Caggie, and drama isn’t lacking.
Who doesn’t love a delicious meal? Funda then married Scott Sullivan, Caggie’s ex in 2017.
Funda and Scott began dating a year after he met her love rival and the couple welcomed a baby girl in 2018.
Scott famously dated Katie Price when she fell in love with Peter Andre in the jungle I’m A Celebrity and was also in a relationship with Jodie Marsh and Bianca Gascoigne.
After leaving the show at the end of the first series, Funda became a movie star and also appeared in music videos by Calvin Harris and Tinie Tempah.
Long-term actor Louise Thompson made a brief appearance in season one, before becoming a regular cast member in season two.
Louise left MIC in 2019 after eight years and a string of unlucky affairs, including with Spencer Matthews, before finding Ryan Libbey.
These days Louise is known for her fitness brand Live Like Louise, which she regularly posts on her Instagram, while sharing workout posts with partner Ryan.
But last year, she revealed she had suffered a severe miscarriage and bravely spoke about the tragic loss before welcoming her son Leo late last year.
She wrote: “There is no easy way to say it, nor a way to sugarcoat it, but earlier this year we lost our baby, he is HARD and…
“Honestly, I had no idea it was possible to love someone I’ve never met so much and let it be taken away was devastating.”
Cheska chose silence as after her time on the show ended after it all became too much.
After leaving the show in 2014, she moved to Devon, where she co-owns a store with her mother.
She also gave birth to son Charlie in 2018.
Cheska recently revealed she has been “much happier” since leaving the bustling city and television career after it left her depressed and anxious.
She also told Grazia in 2018 that her loved ones begged her to leave the show because it had affected her so badly.
She said, “I’m so short, I feel like I can’t act, but I signed on. There are days when I can’t get out of bed. I get scared at the thought of walking down the street.”
Long-haired Fredrik made his debut in seasons 1-4 and after a hiatus returned from series 12 on.
But he has more strings to his bow.
Last year, he signed with Spinnin’ Records, a hallmark of Warner music.
“I signed with Spinnin’ Records, the biggest dance label in the world,” he told Grazia.
‘I’ve had a number of releases with them this year. It’s great that you’re part of this huge organization, one of the biggest brands, and it’s great to be on this ladder. “
But he added that he doesn’t consider himself a reality star.
Mark-Francis can win any sassy contest in any MIC sequence.
The chic Chelsea resident with an Italian ancestry is a favorite – and his quick bodices and sparkly bras only make viewers like him more.
He’s right – but often tries to find a way to avoid relationship drama.
Absent from the show, he competed in the third series of The Jump in 2016 but was forced to withdraw due to a severe injury on the slide.
In 2017, he hosted his own MIC spin-off called Mark-Francis’ Big Night Out and he also appeared on Come Dine With Me last year.
