Old School RuneScape fixes Nex Loot, prepares for Android Open Beta next week

Today, Old School RuneScape’s The update includes several hotfixes for Nex loot, adding achievements and progress notifications for the upcoming Android open beta.

When Nex was released, there were several fixes that were made shortly after in the name of balance and fixed a bug that prevented her from being killed (oops). In the weeks since, many have taken on new challenges and battled her, but now the team wants to soften things up a bit with a new set of Nex achievements. You can get an Elite level achievement by killing Nex once, or if you manage things like killing her without letting anyone die, without taking any damage from certain attacks, or with just two or three players or while one player is coughing. There was even one person who killed her 100 times.

Nex also has a few hotfixes that are mostly about loot. Fixed issues include an issue with the system dropping items when using too many codes, the 100,000 GP fee not being transferred to the Loot Keys as expected, and the Loot Keys being accidentally deleted if the player had one. full inventory try to pick up one in PvP world.

Old School RuneScape is also making progress in expanding its mobile reach with the Android client open beta. This beta will begin on February 28, and the team needs testers to help determine what’s going to happen next. Some features in the Android client will be available on mobile devices for the first time. These include fishing point stats, Buff Bars, chat improvements, and Entity highlights for NPCs. These features and more will be available, with some changes released this week.

Once the open beta is set to begin, the team is expected to have a post with both instructions and a list of known issues. For customer testing, the post of known issues will also include space for feedback.
