Olivia Attwood is back on social media after a recent two-week break, when she told fans it “felt awful” to post casual content amid the ongoing conflict in Ukraine.

The reality TV star, 30, has been posting regularly on Instagram but has been inactive since Russia’s invasion of Ukraine late last month, which has attracted worldwide attention.

Love Island alum returned to the social media platform this week and shared about her brief hiatus, saying it still feels “strange” to post about her life amid the war.

Her last post on her page was on February 22nd – just days before the invasion – with her not posting anything since until a few days ago, when she returned. .

She said, “I’m back. I’ve missed you all so much. I had a bit of a break. […] Is not [for] Any particular reason. I don’t bother making such a big announcement or anything. “

Olivia says she didn’t announce her break because it wasn’t planned. She explained to fans: “It was a coincidence, with everything going on in the world.”

She said that posting about shoes she’s bought or to promote TV shows she’s filming “feels awful”. “It all just feels so trivial and icky,” she commented.

The reality TV star added: “I just don’t know what to post. Just posting normal stuff is gross.” She then reiterated that her absence was not planned at all, amid the filming of two new shows.

Olivia said: “I was sick of the sound of my own voice, literally, so I finished a couple of days of the gamut and it just kept rolling and it’s been two weeks now.”

Reality star asks fans to donate amid Ukraine conflict

The Olivia Meets Her Match star said she recently received “worried” messages about her absence on social media, but assured fans: “I’m fine. I’m fine.”

In the video, she asks her followers to donate to charity because of the ongoing conflict in Eastern Europe, saying that she and fiance Bradley Dack, 28, have already done so.

She also said: “It actually feels a bit weird to post about our lovely lives as things are going.” However, Olivia added that Instagram is “part of [her] Work.”
