One dead in Goodwood road accident – Sussex Police are looking for information

A man died in a car accident on a country road.

The 24-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene after an incident at Kennel Hill in Goodwood.

The accident happened around 5:10 a.m. on Tuesday, October 18. The police are now asking for information about the incident.

Flowers were left at the site of the crash, as well as a banner wrapped around a tree paying tribute to the victim, who has been described as a “gentleman”.

Police put a sign on a tree asking for information.

A Sussex Police spokesman said: “Just before 5.10am on Tuesday (18 October) police responded to a report of a serious collision involving a single vehicle at Kennel Hill, Goodwood.

“Unfortunately, a 24-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene. There were no suspicious circumstances and his next of kin have been informed.”

Anyone with information about the accident is asked to call the police on 101.
