One of the iPhone’s best features has MOVED – and Apple fans are so confused

APPLE has quietly postponed one of its most handy iPhone tricks: hiding photos.

The latest iOS update has completely changed the location of the feature – confusing iPhone users.

Your iPhone has had the ability to hide photos for years.

When you do this, the image will be placed in a special folder called Hidden.

Maybe you want to hide birthday gift ideas, private photos of your kids, or weight loss pictures – it’s easy.

First go to Photos and select all the images you want to hide.

Now you have to press on the three dots in the lower right corner and then choose Hide.

Previously, this feature was hidden in the Share menu, which didn’t really make sense.

But after the latest iOS 16 update, it’s in a much more sensible spot.

Unsurprisingly, the move has confused some users — a number of users have flocked to Twitter to ask where the hide button is now.

One wrote: “How to hide photos in iOS 16 omg.”

Another said: “Moving the ‘Hide Photo’ feature in iOS 16 could shave years off some people’s lives.”

And one added: “Thank god Apple finally changed where you can ‘hide’ your photos in iOS 16.

“Because why we ever had to hit the share button and then very carefully hit the ‘hide’ button instead of the send button was crazy.”

Hide better

Of course, you can get even smarter when it comes to hiding photos.

The new iOS 16 update also made it possible to lock your Hidden Photos album behind Face ID.

To enable this, go to Settings > Photos, then turn Use Face ID on.

You can also turn off “Show hidden album,” which hides the album from your Photos app entirely.

This makes it harder to quickly view your hidden iPhone photos, but it’s a good way to keep the folder very private.

If you can’t see these new features, make sure you’ve updated to iOS 16.

To do this, go to Settings > General > Software update.
