Only Fools and Horses Legendary Mickey Pearce Has Been Diagnosed With Cancer

ONLY Fools and Horses actor Patrick Murray, who plays the narcissist Mickey Pearce, has revealed that he has a cancerous tumor in his lung.
It happened four months after cancer killed his co-star John Challis – Boycie sells wheels on the BBC1 sitcom.
Patrick, 65 years old, said he wanted to go public with his illness to endorse a government ad urging people to get tested for unexplained aches and pains.
He says its removal may have saved his life and hopes to encourage others to do the same.
Patrick, who has a seven-year-old daughter, tweeted: “Of course I’d like to keep my health issues private, but don’t fully confirm this ad would be selfish.
“Thanks to the super plane, I have a fighting chance.
“It showed that my organs needed further investigation and tumors were discovered.
“This results in a PET scan that covers a much larger area.
“I was surprised, these lesions are not cancerous but the CT scan found an early cancerous tumor in my lung. The tumor was removed.
“I’m tweeting now, this wouldn’t have happened if I hadn’t had my ultrasound months ago.
“Many people attribute these symptoms to age, and the discomfort is simply a weak stomach.
“Please don’t ignore it if it continues.
“For my part, and thanks to the NHS, I can now see the same beautiful horizon as you.”
Patrick played the remote dwarf boy Mickey next to him David Jason like Del and Nicholas Lyndhurst as Rodney on Only Fools and Horses from 1983 to 2003.
Londoners were among the mourners at co-star John’s funeralwho passed away at the age of 79 last September.
Patrick revealed 4 years ago he was being treated for chronic congestion lung disease.
In 2016 he got married Anong, 40 years old, in Pattaya, Thailand, where he lived for several years before moving back to the UK. The couple has a daughter, Josie.
