Operational Transformation: The first two leaders of the 2023 series announced

The first two leaders of the new Operation Transformation series, both young mothers in their 30s, have been announced.

ndrea Daly (38), a native of Arklow, Co Wexford, but now living in Portlaoise, Co Laois, said her late son Dylan will be with her every step of the way.

Dylan, who was born with cerebral palsy, tragically passed away in January 2019 at the age of 13. HI’s passing has left a huge void in the lives of Andrea, her husband Joe, and their children Alex, Ryan and Masey.

Andrea and Joe are Dylan’s full-time carers.

She says it’s time for her to embark on an adventure of discovery – not just for herself but for her family.

Talking about her plans for Operation Transformation, she said: “I look forward to being healthy and happy with my own body.

“I feel like this is my year and look forward to the next eight weeks and see what the months and years bring.”

The second leader to be announced is football coach Stephanie Bowden (31), who lives in Clondalkin, Dublin with her partner Brian and their children, Jack and Aoife.

As a Transformational Operations Leader, Stephanie wants to bring some sparkle to her life, she wants to believe in herself again and help inspire others to do the same.

“I can’t wait to start my journey in Operation Transformation 2023 as I look forward to the adventure of learning all the skills to improve my overall health, but also the chance to experience what I sense of life, community and connection as part of the process,” she says.

Since having Jack over four years ago and Aoife earlier this year, Stephanie is struggling to regain her passion.

She coaches football at Crumlin United and has a UEFA football coach degree but really wants to get back to playing like before.

The final three leaders for this year’s Operation Transformation will be named in the coming days.
