Digits are placed in front of backgrounds with almost no contrast – only people with extremely sensitive color perception can recognize all five from the video.
The video is an example of this Ishihara testa 1917 evaluator of red-green color blindness.
In a more medical setting, TikTok’s colored images would be referred to as “pseudoisochromatic plates.”
In a full Ishihara test exam, patients would look at up to 38 different plates, although ophthalmologists can usually tell if someone is color blind after a few samples.
The panels have different functions and some can only be seen by humans are red-green color blind.
Color blindness can be the product of deficiencies or a lack of color reading cones in the eyeball, which is located in the retina.
dogs only have two of the three cones required to see the full color spectrum.
One in 12 men suffers from some form of color blindness, compared to one in 200 women.
The difference is that color blind men only need one parent to be the carrier of the blindness Gene for color blindnessand women need both parents to be carriers.
Remember, TikTok is not a doctor’s office!
If you have trouble seeing the numbers in the video, you can ask your doctor for an official exam.
