Oreo announced Wednesday that its cookies will be returning to shelves on August 15.
This marks the fifth year in a row that Oreo has brought back its limited edition flavor. It consists of “two golden wafer cookies filled with a rich cream,” Oreo described in its cookie description.
“We spice things up with pumpkin,” Oreo announced on his social media accounts. Oreo teased the announcement on Tuesday.

Oreo has followed other companies like Starbucks in bringing a flavor back to menus in August rather than fall.
Oreo released a limited-edition Apple Cider Donut in 2021, but it won’t be bringing that flavor cookie back this year. The aroma is the only new release.
