Our favorite food stories of 2021

Twenty-one was the year we cautiously returned to dine at our favorite restaurant and store loved ones at our private table. For those still not recovering from multiple failed attempts at focaccia, it’s also a chance to try new recipes – we love how Roxane Gay chose chicken Milanese with basil and Batsheva’s cocky challah Or, both are highlighted below .
