Outsourcing is key for companies recovering from the pandemic

A new survey has shown that post-pandemic companies are looking to outsource again to access talent and save on corporate costs.

64% of IT companies adopt a new outsourcing strategy

In a recent survey of 300 IT leaders, more than half of business leaders outsource to access talent and save costs.

The survey, conducted by Amdaris, the Bristol-based software development specialist, found that 64% are adopting a new outsourcing strategy in the face of the pandemic. With 63% finding it difficult to find and hire strong talent, access to talent was a key reason behind the decision to outsource (54%). This was followed by the need to save costs (54%), access to knowledge and experience (41%) and project support (33%).

Additionally, 74% of companies believe that outsourcing can help improve or adopt better software development practices such as agile delivery and quality testing.

Global outsourcing to mitigate risk

Relocation of Ukrainian employees

To support Ukraine, the company relocated its Ukrainian employees from its Odessa plant to centers in neighboring countries.
