Overwatch 2 recreates the Battle for Mount Olympus in free-for-all with seven beloved heroes

OVERWATCH 2 will introduce a new limited-time Battle for Olympus event that will reinvent seven popular heroes.
Takes place from January 5th to 19th, 2023, Players are invited to compete in free-for-all battles with new versions of old heroes.
Free-for-all Deathmatch mode will be introduced to Overwatch 2 for this limited event.
Developer Blizzard Entertainment will track all event stats and the hero with the most eliminations at the end of the event will be immortalized in the game.
In Ilios, a map based on Greece, a statue of the hero is erected in Greek god form.
Along with their new looks, each hero gains new abilities that match their Greek deity.

The heroes are reimagined as follows:
- squire queen – Zeus
- traffic rowdy – Polyphemus
- pharaoh – Hades
- Lucio -Hermes
- Ramattra – Poseidon
- widowmaker – Medusa
- Reinhardt – Minotaur
Junker Queen gains two powers. One is known as the “Voice of Command” and the other power will generate lightning.
Because Polyphemus is a giant, Roadhog grows significantly larger and can throw rocks.
Pharah doesn’t actually gain any additional powers, but does get a buff to her Barrage where she can move and heal while doing so.
Lucio is another hero who gets a buff on an ability. If he pushes enemies against walls, they will be stunned.
Matching Poseidon, Ramattra will create a vortex that can lift enemies up.
Widowmaker gains a buff to her ultimate, allowing her to turn enemies like Medusa to stone.
Reinhardt will also have his ultimate buffed. It deals more damage and has an attack bonus.
