A Green Bay Packers fan poured beer on Detroit Lions’ Amon-Ra St. Brown on Thursday after the receiver jumped into the stands to celebrate with Lions fans at Lambeau Field. (Watch the video below.)
The show “Thursday Night Football” picked up on the disturbing moment. It is unclear whether the viewer will have to face any consequences.
St. Brown had just thrown in a touchdown pass from quarterback Jared Goff to give the visiting team a lead it wouldn’t relinquish with a 34:20 win.
Then St. Brown held a celebratory “Lambeau jump” into the crowd.
This is usually done by Packers players, but whatever. Then the fan, perhaps moved by the teams’ divisional rivalry, provided another example of why alcohol and sports sometimes don’t mix.
In a fair world, this would be this fan’s last beer at Lambeau.
