Paige VanZant has stated that she predicted Conor McGregor will become a “big star” in the UFC after meeting him for the first time.

McGregor is considered the top UFC star having fought in eight of the top ten best-selling pay-per-views in the history of the promotion.

He is currently out of action after breaking his leg in the last match against Dustin Poirier but is aiming for a comeback before the end of the year.

And VanZant believes his stardom is inevitable and has hailed the Irish star as a “combat genius”.

“It’s like number 1 on our to-do list in Ireland. I know his dad, his stepfather and my dad are all super excited to go Conor McGregor ‘s bar,” VanZant told fans in one Instagram Q&A.
