Pamela Anderson Refused to Watch Hulu’s Pam & Tommy: ‘Salt on Wounds’

Pamela Anderson has spoken out against the team behind Hulu’s Pam & Tommy, who she feels owes her “a public apology”.
In 2022, the streamer released a dark comedy mini-series about the leaked sex tapes of Anderson and her then-husband Tommy Lee.
Starring Lily James as Anderson and Sebastian Stan as drummer Mötley Crüe, the project proceeded without Anderson’s consent.
At the time, Anderson did not publicly comment on Hulu’s repeat of the story. Now, however, in a new interview with Diversity while talking about her upcoming Netflix documentary Pamela, Love StoryThe 55-year-old actor frankly explained the reason for refusing to watch Pam & Tommy.
“It was shocking,” she said of the show.
“Tommy probably thought it was funny. I remember Tommy writing me a letter saying, ‘Don’t let this hurt you like the first time’, because he heard the kids say I was struggling with the idea of bringing this up again.
“I don’t think he’s been portrayed properly. I just know that I refuse to watch it.
Anderson has described the series as a “salt in the water”, calling the people behind it “holes”.

“You still owe me a public apology,” she added.
The baywatch the star clarifies that she has “nothing against” [Lily] James,” even saying in an earlier interview that she doesn’t blame James for her role.
“I said to Netflix, ‘I’d love to invite Lily to the premiere of the movie,’” Anderson said Diversity. “I think it’s hard to play someone when you don’t know the big picture.”
She continued: “I think [James] is a beautiful girl and she is just doing the job. But the idea of the whole thing happening really crushed me.
Pamela, Love Story premieres on Netflix on January 31.
