ONE PASSENGER has come a long way in in-flight comfort – but other passengers are less than impressed.
A Tiktok user on @wendygonewild uploaded a video of her on a plane, showing how long she would go to get comfortable.
In the videoWendy had taken off her shoes and socks and put her feet in a sling that was wrapped around the tray table to keep them in place.
Her feet do not touch the ground and can swing back and forth.
Then she picked up a giant inflatable travel pillow there is space for her face and arms.
She placed the pillow on the tray table, wrapped her arms around the hole in the middle and placed her face in the hole above, to feel more comfortable taking a nap.
On the video, she writes: “Always be prepared to rest on flights of 4 hours or more” and caption: “Be prepared when you go on long flights. Make a difference!”
The video has been viewed 2.6 million times and many viewers are horrified to see Wendy taking off her shoes, saying it’s bad plane etiquette and labeling her as ‘Karen’.
One person wrote: “Should be a war crime for taking off my shoes on public transport”.
Another said: “Um no Karen, putting your shoes on here isn’t your home.”
Another wrote: “Put on some socks and have some respect for the other travellers.”
The fourth added: “I can smell the cheese over the phone. I’m moving my seat if I have to sit next to it.”
A flight attendant warned that Wendy’s pillow could cause some damage to the plane.
They wrote: “I made a flight where someone actually broke the tray table with the pillow accessory she was using.”
However, others say the Wendy’s foot and leg pillows are great ideas to make the flight more comfortable.
Someone wrote: “Great for those with swollen feet and legs.”
The second said: “Love this! I always lean forward and sleep against the chair – this is so much better.”
Another woman who has gone to great lengths to make flight more comfortable – even shocking a flight attendant.
And one woman shared The “struggle” of traveling by plane as an oversized person – with some arguing she should have paid for two seats.
